Driving LIR to Montezuma

My flight arrives in LIR at 1:45pm. Would it be crazy to drive to Montezuma that day, or more sane to go the next day? I'm leaning toward the latter, but that results in 2 travel days. I'm torn - what would you do? (I'm a confident driver fwiw.)
