Expensive
Post Body

Just finished a weeklong trip to CR… my god it’s so expensive. How do the locals live? Google tells me that in CR the average salary is $15k-$20k a year. Really? IMO You need at least $60k a year to live in CR. Is inflation that crazy in CR?

Another thing is that there seems to be a worker shortage everywhere you go in CR. I know CR took Covid to heart considering its economy’s exposure to tourism.

Last thing - can someone explain the weather to me? So much rain but there’s water rationing. What’s going on with that?

UPDATE: if you go on YouTube and type in "why is costa rica so expensive" you'll get a bunch of videos telling you the same things I explained in this post and in my replies to y'all. Here is one video example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWdqEQmxUo8
