Looking for recommendations on wraps or tints

Not my image, but I've printed this helmet and the blue face is a separate print that attaches with magnets. Visibility really sucks, plus I want to add some internal lights that could bleed through. Does anyone have any recommendations that would give something similar to the image while allowing light to bleed through?
Any advice or recommendations are appreciated, thank you!
