Seeking clarification on how to weather faux leather:
Post Body

I am working on my first major cosplay and have seen a lot of guides about how to weather this particular material but many of them are kinda vague.

I understand how to use alcohol and sandpaper, but I have also seen many guides using an airbrush to recess paint the seams and that has left me with questions.

What paint can be used for this and what methods should I use for best results?

Are there any other ways of weathering I should use, I am a bit nervous about ruining the jacket in the picture above.
