So I am rereading the way of kings and just got to the point where Kal is recovering from the storm and Teft saw him breath stormlight and Teft says “Almighty cast from heaven to dwell in our hearts” which mirrors a very important quote from the rhythm of war “Honor is not dead so long as he lives in the hearts of men!”. I did some digging in the coppermind as knowing that references to the almighty being dead are few and far between until the reveal, from this search at the envisagers, and it related in how this group was most likely a splinter of the sons of honor. Leading down the interesting thought of perhaps the sons of honor were some non radiant organization or logistical branch, people close enough to get inklings of the spiritual realm and other tidbits, or that honor was dead.
Sanderson’s world always feel like infinite rabbit holes and each new reread gives more to bite into, anyone else have some quotes that gain greater context?
