I met a man who has a 2002 C5 Z06. He said before meeting me he was thinking of selling the car for around 30k. He said that’s about how much he wants for it now but he’s willing to work on a price. He’s a really cool guy and I’ve been over to his house several times for coffee, small repairs on the vette, and driving practice as I have not driven a manual before (I’ve had lots of practice with the vette though and I’m pretty good at it now). It’s not exactly showroom quality, but it is in very good condition. It’s still runs perfectly, the interior is in great condition, and the exterior is also in great condition. It’s an overall equality vehicle but I still feel like 30k is too much. I’m staring college in the fall and I would use this car to get to school and work. Am I just being cheap or is he asking for too much? How much should I ask for it?
