After listening to the podcast, I realized that I actually already owned Grey's ideal pants. Dickies makes Chef pants with cargo pockets that are reasonably discrete but they make you look like you are picking up an extra shift at a waffle house. https://www.dickies.com/chef-uniforms/mens-cargo-pocket-chef-pants/DC10.html?dwvar_DC10_color=BLK#start=6 However, I don't believe that they are discrete enough so I looked around amazon and found Tactical pants, while they may have a dumb name and tactical use-case is nonexistent, they have more pockets and those extra pockets don't have ugly flaps. https://www.amazon.com/5-11-Tactical-Covert-Cargo-Tundra/dp/B005L8089E The discrete cargo pant may be a solution to the EDC problem, that or a sufficiently sized Vagina pack.
