I recently built a new pc and need to know if it’s the components I’ve choosen or another issue that’s cause this horrendous performance.
Specs: Ryzen 9 7900x
Corsair H150I Capellix elite
ROG Strix B650E-F motherboard
64gb corsair ddr5 6000mhz
Gigabyte 4070
Corsair HX850 psu
1tb Samsung m.2
3x3 corsair ML120 fans
Now I don’t think that I’ve made a terrible system here but whenever I turn on the computer all 12 fans ramp right up, the computer itself is a lagging mess from startup and it periodically crashes with Icues crash pad handler open on boot.
Every driver for card to ram is updated and the latest version, I know that apparently Icue 5.x has problems with fan curves but in the uninstall menu in windows 11 apparently Icue doesn’t exist.
I will say that the 3 fans are connected straight into the supplied ram hub along with 3 other fans from the case. Would it help if I plugged the cpu fans straight into the motherboard instead?
At this point I’m quite upset that my new computer is worse than my old one that was almost 10 years old so please if you can help me out a bit.
