UNTIL 11-15-24 .....The National Seashore is seeking advice from the public regarding growing infestation of Padre Island by feral hogs n Nilgai. Feral hogs will eat anything they can get. This means: turkey-turkey eggs n chicks, ground nesting birds: quail, doves, fish, fawns and even raccoons. Nilgai are huge antelopes that get up to 600 pounds. They compete with deer n turkey for food sources.

Please let them know how you feel about invasion of hogs n Nilgai. Suggest they allow controlled adult hunts to thin out the invaders and give Corpus area hunters a place to hunt.
