This will help out the hardest hit and reduce the amount of people taking risks with the virus. I'm thinking of people travelling to work for extra shifts when they should stay home.
I'm earning an average amount in London and with lockdown I'm spending about a third of my salary and that's it. I'd happily pay and extra £100 a month for the duration of lockdown.
Companies thriving as well could pay say 5% from profits too. The supermarkets are all killing it now.
Seems like a fairly reasonable response to help out fellow Brits. I'm feel damn lucky I can carry on working as normal but there will be redundancies at the company and I'd want to think that the people would do the same for me.
