Since the lockdown began and even to now I've seen a lot of people saying how "easy" the lockdown. This is usually in critique to people complaining about the lockdown or those breaking the rules. It's often said with a comparison to WW2 in the form of something like "at least you're not getting bombed" followed up with "all you're being asked to do is stay at home and get paid to watch TV".
Here's the thing what you're describing isn't necessarily as "easy" as you think it is. Sure on paper it's a pretty simple principle and set of rules to follow but people are far more complex. Personally I don't find sitting inside all day watching TV to be easy or enjoyable or fulfilling at all. I've been following the lockdown rules myself and at no point have I found it "easy", I've found it very simple to follow yes but the mental struggle and anxiety is real.
I know some people might just see this as being pedantic over semantics but I think there is an important distinction to be made here that a lot of people are ignoring. I find it particularly ironic when this lack of understanding comes from people in objectively better circumstances who don't realise that this lockdown is potentially some peoples worst nightmare in many ways.
