A friend lost a family member to COVID and doesn't want to go into work

Post Body

My friend works from home at the moment, has done since the lockdown began and since a family member died at the beginning of April (who lived in her household). She started working from home again about a week ago. She is now being asked to go in back to work (clinical research facility) in the coming weeks, for aspects of the job that require patient (non-COVID and non-clinical) contact.

She doesn't want to go back to the research facility because understandably, she doesn't want to put her own health and that of the rest of her family at risk. She's petrified of going in and I feel it will be significantly detrimental to her mental health.

What can I do to help her and is there anything she can do to keep working from home and not go back in?
