Such kind of pandemic with fauna reservoirs just become endogenous of the human race. All the measures we took so far and all the money invested is just about delaying the cleanup this virus will do... It's not unprecedented, this kind of virus are part of mankind history. They come, kill the non resilient, become our little friends whispering above our shoulders.. Lock downs, treatments and vaccine are nice, but whatever you do, in 10 years sars-cov2 will be the seasonal flu no-one cares about, like H1n1 became 20% of the seasonal flu test results according to CDC figures.
The real danger is "spectacular" measures and govt enforcement of "not that funny" agendas under virus fight cover...
