Post Body

My father works for MASSDOT and works in close connection with the secretary of transportation for the state who works closely with Baker. She pressed baker earlier today as to why the vaccine rollout has been so bad. He explained that vaccine rollout has been slow because he does not want to overextended the supply the state has which is not as much as he first hoped. Baker pointed to other states like new jersey that allowed for appointments to be scheduled but that the vaccine was exhausted too quick and people who had appointments were arriving with no doses left. Therefore, baker said that he is awaiting plans from the biden administration on how and when more vaccines will be produced and exactly how much the state will get. Only than does baker think he can push vaccine rollout quicker and to a wider number of individuals. She also pressed him on whether he thinks summer travel will be back to normal levels and he said absolutely not. My dad told me to keep a close eye on what is said at the state of the state speech baker is slated to give on Tuesday.
