Omicron boosters from Phizer and Moderna have been approved by the FDA and are currently being rolled out, but information is still fuzzy about who actually has them available. * Updated boosters target both the original Covid strain and omicron’s BA.5 subvariant * Updated boosters will be free of charge and the US has secured 170 million doses, so they should be widely and easily available soonish * To be eligible, you’ll need to have completed your primary vaccination series and be several months removed from previous boosters or infections.
