They are a large group of people.

Like most large groups of people, there are some with out there beliefs in attendance.

At the end of the day there's a portion of Aussie people who feel so shunned from our society that they feel their best option right now is to camp in Camberra and try to be heard. Some don't know if they will make it back home in WA, most can barely afford their rent but still made their way to that lawn. They are feeling desperate, ignored and hurt. That breaks my heart.

Sadly, they are now having people like Craig Kelly turn up. If he had turned up from the start, none of the people would be there because like most us they despise him. So he has waited until now, because as usual the media and the public are making fun of them and outright bullying them for their beliefs. Now that we've battered the crap out of them, they're feeling even more vulnerable and are starting to turn to him to be heard.

I'm saddened that a group of Aussies are now being preyed upon by Craig Kelly, because they feel they have no other place to turn.

Doesn't that scare you in itself? That's how Trump got elected in the U.S.

These people are not the fault of our Public health systems failings, that's the fault of our goverment not properly funding the public health system. They have vilified this small portion of Australians, because it's easier to blame 20% of our population (including their kids), then it is to fix the fundamental issues that has affected Australia's Covid 19 response.

Prior to blaming the protesters for their mistakes the goverment was once blaming all of us, if you remember. We publicly named and shamed people for breaking CHO orders and blamed any outbreaks following the event on a small group of people. All whilst the goverment were botching our hotel quarantine program and covid safe app and vaccine roll-outs, ignoring desperate please from Drs and nurses for more funding, and undermining one another throughout the whole process, like our lives were a political game.

If you don't get off your high horses and start listening to these people we soon will be no better than the U.S.

I've had a good hard look in the mirror and realised I've treated some people like crap during the last two years due to this and I won't do it anymore. Like forcing my younger brother to get vaxxed against his wishes, I guilt tripped him, belittled his beliefs and kept applying pressure and he eventually caved. Any time he gets a twinge in his chest he's terrified that's its from the vaccine and I think he will spend a large portion of his life feeling that way. I regret my behaviour and wish I had of just listened to his concerns and let them slowly fade as they would have had he, had his family to talk to openly and honestly rather than his friends and co workers that are also terrified of this vaccine. I hurt my little brother and I regret it. I'm changing the way I treat these people, will you?

This group of people would also be much more likely to get vaxxed if they were working and spending time with their friends and family, rather than holled up at a park living together, segregated from the rest of us. We are turning them into a fringe group.
