Shutting down schools and making kids isolate because of a covid case (and just isolation in general) is unsustainable.
Post Body

We've been back at school for 2-3ish weeks now. My school shut down for a day about a week ago because of a confirmed case.

Luckily, I wasn't a close contact...THIS TIME. But whoever was now had to miss an entire week of school.

Now today, there's been ANOTHER covid case at our school. They're saying they didnt come into contact with any students or staff while at school (somehow idk) so we wont be shutting down this time.

But it's only a matter of time before I'm a close contact via school and have to miss a week of participation in society. And then a matter of time until it happens again.

This isn't just to do with schools, isolating for close contacts in general is unsustainable.

How long is this going to go on?
