Wondering if anyone in the medical field could help with this question re: vaccines for hospitalised patients
Post Body

I’m suffering with mental health really bad, and the Crisis Assessment Triage Team in my suburb in Melbourne are looking at admitting me into hospital and/or PARC. I don’t yet know what is happening, I won’t know until possibly Monday. I’m due for my second jab of AZ on the 11th September. If I’m admitted to a PARC, I’m allowed to drive myself for appointments so that is fine. But if I’m admitted to the inpatient stay in hospital, what happens about my vaccine? Can they organise for me to have the vaccine in my ward? Hopefully someone can give some advice on this, as I can’t organise anything until I know over the weekend what the plan is for me. Thankyou
