Went to see a doctor, they took their mask off during my appointment. Thoughts?

Post Body

Just went in for a general checkup, nothing major. During the appointment, doc stopped running through the motions to take their mask off because it made them uncomfortable and explain to me that “I’m more likely to get sick and die of the flu than of covid in Queensland”.

This was an older doctor who just came across as unsafe, unprofessional, and pretty entitled if I’m honest.

The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

I’d like to hear some thoughts on the matter.
