I'm in Melbourne and was intending to help my brother move house on Saturday. Is that allowed in spite of the lockdown?

Post Body

I live in a northern suburb and was going to help my brother move house, from Chelsea to Caulfield as he is unemployed, can't afford a removalist and doesn't have a car. A friend with a ute is going to help with his fridge and bed.

As Melbourne is now in lockdown how likely am I to be caught doing this?

Is it legal to move house during the lockdown?

My brother says the announcement doesn't specifically say you can't move house, but I think that is a very doubtful argument.

Any advice would be welcome.
