For me I am thinking long and hard about where I want to relocate long term. I was thinking of Australia (low debt to gdp, "conservative" government, seemed like it did not have as much BS going on as the US) and longer term Paraguay. However, both of those seem pretty authoritarian and the only other reasonable option, Hong Kong, is going through pretty much a coup so that leaves what maybe Singapore (with all it's debt)? Again the balance is I still need to work, but I don't want to be in an authoritarian area. Add in the fact that even third parties have their own messes respectively and I am a bit of a bind. Has this made you reevaluate your SHTF options?
