I read Corey Wayne's book 2-3 times and I thought I was an enlightened lady killer. However, I have found that many strategies in the book have backfired horribly.
First example: I found a hot rocker chick who was a little rough around the edges. I was extremely into her, but I was playing the indifferent card with her so I wouldn't seem clingy. When she tried to get me to buy her things, I declined. When I would normally be nice and sweet, I was kind of a dick. Corey Wayne's strategies in this case just made me seem like an asshole, when I'm actually an overly nice sweet dude. She blocked me.
Second example: The book explains the importance of not letting a woman change the time/day of the date. The reasoning is that the woman is "testing you" and seeing if she can sway you and basically knock you off your center. I had a date set up to go running with a gorgeous girl on a Wednesday afternoon. She tried to change the time of the date because of some kind of actual circumstance. I did not compromise with her and was not receptive to changing the time. I was ghosted.
Another thing to point out. I feel that these strategies are made to be used only on very beautiful women. It doesn't explain different tactics in the book to pick up your typical woman. I've tried to use the ideas that you shouldn't compliment and basically seem unimpressed. However, on women who are less than a 9 or 10, I feel that complimenting would actually help because they dont hear it as often.
I am not saying that this book didn't help. The 3% man absolutely gave me some great solid knowledge. However, use common sense and don't fuck up like I did. I've blown several great opportunities because of things I read in the Corey Wayne book, that could have gone very well had I never read it.
