Fragmented oxidized copper in discharge

Is it possible to see the fragmented copper in your discharge? Going to my third month with the IUD and since insertion sometimes I see really tiny dark flecks in my mucus. They’re almost invisible, I have to look really close against the white toilet paper. I don’t always see them. Anyone ever saw something like this?
