I have just started looking into marinating chicken. One of the recipes I have says it makes a marinade for 6 chicken breasts but I usually only make 2 breasts for dinner for me and my gf. If I was to make the marinade, could I store extra marinade (not touched by chicken) in a ziplock for use over the next 2-3 days? My plan is to pour the marinade into the ziplock of chicken only up until its covered - Is it safe to freeze or put the extra ziplock of marinade that hasn't mixed with chicken in a ziplock for later use? What is the best storage for this?
