Razor clam help!!

Post Body
I bought some beautiful razor clams at my local store but had a few other errands to run on my way home. In the couple hours of them being in the bag they seem to have pick up a stronger odor and most are wide open and appear dead. I know you shouldn’t eat dead clams but they literally just died. Can I or is it all a waste?
