Beef Broth has slime in it?

Post Body
Was making something I wanted to simmer and added beef broth. I am 99% sure this container was not opened, and it has until the end of 2024 to expire.
After pouring some in the pan, some ooze/ slime started to come out of the container. That didnt touch the food, the broth did. And no, it was not gelatinous like home made is. Swanson's brand beef broth.
Is my last minute cook needing to get dumped? Genuinely curious. Maybe used 1/5 - 1/4 of the container tops.
Please let me know.
