Which apps/websites do you use to keep your recipes all safely saved and organized? I am looking for something ideally free, or that is clearly worth its price that is compatible with both I-Phones and Androids, as well as browsers. Being an Android user, it is still ideal to use a product that has a wider reach, attracting people from both sides. I also enjoy something where I can conveniently discover and rate other people's recipes, as well as easily share my recipes with others. One feature it must have is to be able to go to a recipe on a different website and accurately save the important parts of the recipe into my app. Being able to include pictures is important. The ability to change portion sizes, as well as assisting with a grocery list, the "pantry" feature, and meal planning, are nice perks as well. Of course, it is critical that the website/app is extremely user friendly while making the food/drink. Easy to read and follow and/or it is read to you. I need to spend more time comparing the pros and cons of the options out there.
I am curious what people here use now, as well as what people might think after reading any of these links.
Many people appear to still use hard copies of recipes (cookbooks, magazine clippings, index cards, binders) to save and organize their recipes. Others bookmark websites or keep their tabs open and organize that way. Others type out the recipes in either a Google Drive file or a regular document file like Word or Notepad on their computer/phone. Some people just email the recipes to themself and label it with a keyword. While these may work perfectly for some people, I am still definitely interested in a website/app.
Here is a list of the suggested apps/websites from the nine links below. I am still in the middle of learning about each of them. I will try to update later, once I narrow this down.
PRO-TIP - Make sure to back up everything that you post on an app/website. If they disappear, so does your data!
