Spice Blends - Buying vs Making

I was thinking about spice blends (adobo, garam masala, everything bagel seasoning, Old Bay) and I was debating which ones I should buy vs which ones I should make (and of course, which ones are available near me).
So, which ones do you make and which ones do you purchase?

Probably not, but I think that's the question, right? Which ones can I do better and which ones aren't worth the effort.
The reason that this came to mind for me, while I buy new sazon and adobo, is that I still can't find garam masala at any of my local grocery stores so I am thinking of making my own.
