Usually, for ripe bananas, I make banana bread. That's what you do, right?
But I found a recipe on YouTube, this evening, for a cream frosting type thing made with ripe bananas. The lady in the video put it in a piping bag and showed it as a frosting, but she said that you could also skip the straining and blending part, and fill a griddle cake with it.
The video is here, if you need to see what she's talking about (it's in Spanish, but translation is available): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9idTkwEMMLo
But my basic question is the same. How do you fill a griddle cake? I tried asking Google, but Google is completely pointless, these days. Can you fill a griddle cake? Or is she talking about like, mixing this cream into the batter, or spooning it on top, or something, that wouldn't really be "filling" and I just misunderstood (possibly because I don't speak Spanish past toddler level).
