So.. I bought the wrong corned beef for corned beef and cabbage. I got cloves, cabbage, carrots, onions, mustard, etc, but I couldn’t find a corned beef brisket at my local market. So I asked an employee and they took me to the deli counter where I asked them for corned beef. They asked what size, I said 2lbs, they gave me a bag, and I went on my way. Well now I’m looking at my precooked deli meat brick of corned beef, and I have no idea how to prep this and make a good Sunday dinner. We have friends coming over for dinner and I don’t want it to be awful. Any advice? How do I make a good corned beef and cabbage with this? Is it even possible?
