I finally pulled the last costume I needed to complete the summer vacay set, and after seeing all of them I have to say 2024 so far has been a VERY disappointing year for skins so far. It feels like they've been getting lazier and lazier with the skins and this year has been by far the worst.

We started off the year strong with White Lilly's LEGENDARY costume that included a line change and particle effect, even though a lot of people complain about the mystic , it's still one of the best mystic with everything having a nice gold touch.

But after that everything just went completely downhill, we haven't had a single EPIC costume release all year so my rainbow crystals have just been collecting dust.

Then next is Stormbringer LEGENDARY costume which barely includes any particle effects besides a green color and slightly more clouds and no voice line change at all, she says the same line just slightly raspier.

We actually then get a skin taken away when we evolve Dark Cacao with no explanation as to when we'll be getting it back.

Then we get the SPECIAL summer skins with special skins being the rarest skins in the entire game considering they don't come back , and they really dropped the ball on these as now there's no particle effects at all. All previous special skins at the very least had particle effects that made sense with the theme of the skin, but these were just awful. Also unlike Legendary skins it's not like the rate goes up the more you pull and you can easily spend over 70k cubes trying to get all the skins as it's very likely you get a ton of dupes chasing the last skin.

Now the most recent MYSTIC skin for Moonlight has no particle effects. that's right it doesn't even turn her stars gold, and after a ton of runs comparing it to her base legendary, it's literally the same skin except now the back of her hair is gold...it does virtually nothing, when the bar was already on the floor all it had to do was making some stuff yellow and it couldn't even do that.

Also looking at the prices for these skins if you where to buy them outright, the cheapest is the Legendary skin at 36$ , then next comes the Mystic at $40 and to guarantee a specific Special skin it cost $50.

Mind you the ONLY one of those skins that even has any particle effects is the Legendary skin and that's only because they both came out last year

Just really not liking the direction skins are going , especially for how much money they cost.

TLDR: Skin prices are increasing , meanwhile the value is decreasing.
