As we all have seen the past 48 hours there's been a frenzy in the community over the most recent update, as there should be! Definitely standing in solidarity and not spending. However I don't think the fanbase would be as upset as they are if they released the events differently.
They released Stormbringer (a free legend) along with the Tower update before Mystic Flour and literally every update since Stormbringer has been super P2W.
- Stormbringer legendary costume with no pity
- the $150 Mystic an update later
- Introducing a new type of cookie with extremely low rates on it's own gacha and no other gachas
- introducing a new landmark, but you have to buy it for $15
- Introducing a new type of cookie with extremely low rates on it's own gacha and no other gachas
It's literally the 5th money required update in a row, i'm not sure how they expected this to go well lol. I think a lot of this could've been avoided if they just released Mystic Flour first , Stormbringer in the middle and just completely wiped her costume until the future (it's the worst legendary in terms of effort anyway tbh)
I'm not saying the fanbase wouldn't have had a meltdown over the new type because it's unnecessary and definitely warranted for backlash. But they could've at least thought it through and gave us the free legendary before knowingly announcing more BS. You could also say it wouldn't fit in the story, but the way it's written, Stormbringer could've EASILY come in the middle of this event considering she's the one who split the dragons to begin with.....
TLDR: Devsis got way too greedy, way too fast
