If you're a woman coming to this sub, you're either here because it is hysterically funny, or because you are drawn to the idea of being degraded, being treated misogynistically. Probably both. So maybe you feel guilty for being here, for wanting that. You feel it is a betrayal of all of the gains that woman have made through the years. A betrayal of the woman that have died at the hands of misogyny.

But that misses the point of the struggles they had (in my humble - male - opinion). The core concept of feminism is choice. If you're married to a guy who is toxic, you have the choice to leave.

On the other hand, you have the choice to come to this sub, you have the choice to find yourself excited by the ideas it portrays. You can choose somebody to talk to and give them consent to treat you in whatever foul and degrading way you wish. That is what feminism is about, your freedom to choose.
