i’ve been a committed feminist my entire adult life. being raised in a conservative catholic household, i had a substantial dose of institutional misogyny as a young person, but i have gradually moved farther and farther left as i’ve grown into adulthood. i’ve been friends with men throughout my life, but i’ve lost more than a few friendships with men who refused to recognize their own misogyny, and my relationships and my closest and longest friendships have always been with other girls. i’ve never actually been with a guy, because no man has ever really seemed interesting or worth trying to be more than just friends. i work in a male dominated field, so i’m used to the competitiveness that comes with trying to prove myself as a girl.

just a little more about me: i’m very into hip hop and hyperpop music, particularly any music by trans women; i’m what most people would probably call “far left” politically; some top movies of mine are The Favourite and Phantom Thread; i’m a pretty big pothead.
