Hi Gents,
I had multiple conversations with many of you here. You may call them a debate or a conversion attempt, but I will just refer to them as conversations. One thing that seems to come up time and time again is that you assume a direct connection between feminism or the lack thereof and my sexual life. And I have no idea why...
It's not a secret that I love being more submissive in my personal life, in fact, you could say that I act very differently behind closed doors than in my professional life. I'm not trying to hide that fact, I absolutely love being the sexy, denied submissive with a couple of whip marks on my body on a Friday night, but that doesn't mean I'm somehow suddenly seized to be the strong capable woman I am outside of the bedroom.
I'm not sure I understand why my choice of having fun means that I'm somehow not eligible to be a feminist... This is where most of my conversations on this subreddit tend to get stuck. You guys insist that the fact that I like spending my evenings restrained, edged, denied and in a bit of pain, means that I'm somehow "secretly" or unconsciously against feminism. Something that I categorically refuse.
It is perfectly possible to be fun in bed and yet be capable and really fucking good at what I do. My sexual preferences do not mean that I think that I'm inferior... Not at all.
So, in case you wish to clarify this for me... Then again of course you don't have to agree with those who make these claims, you are perfectly welcome to attempt to "convert" me or at least talk to me, but I'm just interested in why so many of you guys seem to think this way.
