Hello,

I have a green cheek that’s about 25 yrs old. On Friday night she seemed....off. Seemed lethargic out of the blue (fine in the morning and sudden change at night). Seemed listless, when sitting on perch was kind of leaning back? Not really reacting to me. The next day didn’t eat or drink and refused all her favorite things. She normally sleeps in the hammock but seemed to have issues getting in so gave up and just sat there sort of leaning back and droopy wings and not moving much. Of course it’s a long weekend and vets are closed. Yesterday in the morning she was more or less the same, but then perked and and started eating and drinking. Appetite seems to be back in full force. And acting almost back to normal. Only thing is now she seems quieter than normal and avoiding flying. Her wings aren’t clipped and never have been. She’s flown DOWN from her cage only twice today. But won’t fly UP. Just screams until I put her back up. Is it possible she had a minor stroke? Or what else could it be? I’m going to take her in as soon as vets opens but just curious if anyone knows what could be going on. She seems almost back to normal but I dunno....
