Hi, I've got an issue with my left analog stick on my xbox one controller, it's struggling to keep consistent y-input. For example, if I try walking forward my character tends to start and stop, and if I try and move diagonally the forward input is lost and I just move sideways.
I took off the back and front plate of the controller to see if I could identify the issue and also just do some general cleaning. The strange thing is that the left stick was reading inputs perfectly fine and smooth when everything was exposed, but as soon as I put the front plate back on it started jittering again.
I can't see anything bent out of shape on the front plate, and I have no idea what the issue could be. If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it.
