What do I talk about to Client/employer/manager/colleagues!?!
Post Body

Hello there,

I work in London and my client (I am a contractor atm) is based in city X. The Client is a big organisation and I have been with them for over a year now but never met them in person/not even on camera!

They are happy with my work (although the work very easy for me to they think what I do is great...despite I hardly do anything!) and I am due for a visit for five days shortly. The five days is due to a very critical event that they need my presence but in reality I know I will not be doing anything (I just know!) and lot of idle time. I really wish it was going to be busy days for me during my site visit but I just know it won't be.

The advice that I wanted to get how do I survive for five days with the client? I am not social - I can hardly hold any conversation with anyone for 2 min, without coming as a freak, but for five days is going to be a killer for me to survive and as I said I just have nothing to say to anybody.

I am just concious that I don't blow my reputation away (Its been so easy for me to build this remotely!) when I am on site. I am not even that good at the work I do but they think I am....

It might sound like a strange question but just need your thoughts on how I spend my days without coming out as a freak and still maintain my good reputation as I have been remotely!?

Thanks!
