looked at a house today and its pretty good shape I think the one thing that I'm not sure what to deal with is that during a severe storm there was a lot of damage in my area 4 years ago. This house the siding guys cut the cat5 cable all throughout the house. These people have been living off of wifi in their house from having the ISP re-run a line into the garage and just using wifi. The problem is all the TV's were on that side of the house. From walking through and looking at it, the 4th and 5th bedrooms don't get wifi at all. I don't think it really bothered these people but the other side of the house I intend to need to have devices connected to the internet. Now that the house is resided, what would the options be to get the existing lines in the house reconnected or is it just shit out of luck? They cut the old lines and then tucked them up into the new siding...so you can see where the lines were cut at. It doesn't make any sense to me why someone would do this!
