Contractor License in California?

Post Body

I currently have a bachelors in business/finance and I am thinking of getting a contractor license. The requirements are that I need at least four years of experience as a journeyman, laborer etc. But if I am not wrong, it says if you have a degree in business it will cut down three years from that requirement and you only need one year of hands on training or work experience. Can someone verify this? Any information would be appreciated.
