My Ally's war rank was showing after the war today and then disappeared. one of our members was banned for using an emulator a week ago. Related?

Not sure if it is twisted or I am paranoid but we went from gold 1 to plat 3 somehow immediately after war and we were in tier 6 moving to tier 5. About 2 hours after results came in the results disappeared and it doesn't say if we are gold, Plat, or anything and doesn't show rank. We can still place for the next.

One of our members was banned Sunday for placing defenders through an emulator and came back today. Didn't place for this war or the last but today he could hop in on attack. Not sure if they are related but it seems odd. This happen to anyone?
