Tired of expensive but cheap quality housewares :( please help

It makes me so angry the amount of $ I spent on furniture and kitchen items that turn out to be complete crap. I’m ready to put down the big bucks on pieces that will last. If that’s what it takes. Would love to hear your recommendations on-

Would also love to hear chains that you trust I just moved and threw out all my crap. Determined not to buy new crap!🙏
