Switching from Sub PM to GC PM?

Good day fellas. I have been contemplating on switching my role as a pm to the GC side. How hard would the transition be? I have been a steel pm for a sub for over 10 years now. The main reason I want to switch is for the following ; boredom with managing only one trade, my boss is a d bag, more money. Iād like to hear your opinions and advice thank you.
