Post Body

Project engineer here with a large commercial GC. Going on about 1.5 years experience and have felt increasing difficulty to keep up with the field on my current job. My previous project I didn’t feel this inability while simply updating a running log in my notepad, marking dates on my desk calendar, and effectively tracking / categorizing emails. I’ve tried implementing spreadsheets, organizing reminders, etc. but I’m still feeling behind. It doesn’t help that any bit of information needs to be pried from our design team but that’s no excuse - that’s a challenge almost all of CM faces.

Just wondering if anyone has some tools or tips to stay on the ball and ahead of the field. Any input is appreciated.
