cool gadgets/tools/things you wouldn't buy for yourself but would be nice to have on the job site?

Hi there,

I work in the energy sector but my dad works as a construction plumber. I always get him lame gifts for Father's Day, his bday, Xmas, you get the idea a gift card to somewhere he likes. You know, like I've gotten him a SPORTS <insert Cubs/Bears/Blackhawks> t-shirt or sweater probably for over a decade at this point. Does he even wear them? Who knows. I've been trying to be more thoughtful in my gift giving all around so I thought I'd see if anyone is hyped about anything these days? For example, I didn't know that heated jackets were a thing (even if they are kinda gimmicky but I run cold so I love it) and a friend got me one a few Christmases ago.

Anything from gear, random "gadgets", a cool thing you saw that someone else had one time and you never stopped thinking about it lol. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
