This picture was taken with a drone, not from me! I’m down there on the screed. Not sure who Matt and will are, but hope they are doing alright!
After we pour the floor, they start setting steel a week or so. We have done pours where the deck and all the steel is up before. Where we work, it’s contractors preference. But as a screed operator, I can confirm it is so much easier when there is no steel up. Nothing blocking my laser, blocking my screed and I don’t have to worry about bumping any beams.
It wasn’t terrible. Not the funnest while doing it in light rain the whole time.
