I’ve been looking at online school because I’d like to maintain a full time job (ya know, bills n such) and I found Ashworth college. They are offering a six month undergrad certificate in construction management.
So here are my questions:
-would the six month program be a foot in the door for a residential company?
-could starting pay be close to that of an electrician with my experience? (State average $17)
-how else can I be proactive in starting a custom home company?
-is the market for residential builders good?
Other information that may help:
I’m 22 year old, 3 years experience as an electrician (50/50 residential/commercial), residing in DFW Texas.
