I'm looking for a pair for my dad, he does a lot of farm, quarry and site work and he's never ever found a pair of boots that last longer that 1.5 years, usually he buys a couple of €10-€20 china boots and wears them with old fashioned wool socks so it's comfortable and he finds it's just plain cheaper to keep buying them every year/couple months.
So I thought I'd ask you guys if there is such a thing as a boot that can actually last and is more economical? Obviously if you're an engineer who just has a gander around the site and your boots last over a year that doesn't count.
Thanks lads!
