Is this normal?
Building a home through Perry Homes and I see this above the garage door. Shouldn’t that wood be covered? Also, there’s a lot of light coming through.

What does it look like from the outside?
That plywood looks like it was installed over the drywall as a backplate for the garage door hardware.
The light coming is normal. Maybe it could be adjusted a bit closer, but garage doors aren't all that airtight.
