A coworker/ buddy passed my name and number along to a client that our company wouldn't help because of the size of the project.

I ended up taken care of it for him.

Material 250.00 ish Gas25.00 Spent 8 hours on it.

Stuff like this happens from time to time and I want him to keep on passing my name. What do you think is fair.

A crisp 100.00? A coke and a smile?

Honestly if it was me I would not expect anything. I send people name out there all the time and I'm sure people have gotten work because of me.in fact I know the electrician I have referred has gotten at least 6 small projects .
